My cousin got me a game program full of autographs back in 2004, that I found recently when digging through some boxes.

After finishing his 2004 season with the Austin Wranglers, Skinny took a season off. He would play one final season with the Arizona Rattlers in 2005 before retiring.  An offensive specialist Culver is a notable veteran of the XFL playing for the Orlando Rage in 2001 where he recorded 10 receptions for 165 yards and a TD, to go along with 39 punt returns for 250 yards. A two way player for the Anaheim Piranhas in 1997, at both receiver and defensive back, he led the team with 16 touchdowns and 769 yards to go along with 2 picks. In 1994 he was a member of the infamous CFL Baltimore Colts/Stallions club and also saw time on the rosters of the Rampage, Avengers, and Desperados as well.

Bobby Pesavento was a true rookie in 2004 for the expansion Wranglers,  and after the departure of John Kaleo Bobby won the starting job in a competition against John Fitzgerald in 2005. Four games into the season however, he’d be deposed by Fitzgerald and not regain the starting assignment as the team spiraled to a 6-10 record. Pesavento also spent time in AFL2 with the Colorado Crush where he saw action in 4 contests.

Pesavento is perhaps best known as the quarterback behind the Colorado Buffalos improbable Big 12 Championship run in 2001.

Originally a 12th round selection of the Atlanta Falcons in 1989, Tony Bowick’s 13th and final season was with the Austin Wranglers in a career that spanned 3 professional leagues (WLAF, NFL, and AFL) playing for the Birmingham Fire, Charlotte Rage, Albany Firebirds, Grand Rapids Rampage, and Chicago Rush.
