• Mark Collins played DB at Call State Fullerton from 1982-’85.
• He led the conference in ’83 with 7 interceptions, and then followed that up in ’84 with 6.
• In 46 contests he had 20 interceptions for 193 yards.
• Second round pick of the New York Giants in 1986.
• Although injuries limited his effectiveness early in his career, he became well regarded as a fierce tackler and defender in the secondary.
• Played for the Giants for 8 seasons, logging 17 picks for 104 yards and a TD.
• Signed with the Chiefs in 1994.
• Had a career high 6 interceptions in 1996.
• Played for the Packers in 1997, and closed out his career with the Seahawks in 1998.
