CAREER SNAPSHOT:

• Brad Hawkins played DB at Michigan from 2017-’21.
• He appeared in a school record 56 contests- with 31 starts at FS.
• Over his college career he tallied 178 combined tackles, 7 tackles for loss, 8 pass deflections, and 2 forced fumbles.
• Undrafted in 2022, he signed with the Atlanta Falcons but didn’t make the squad.
• Signed about a month later by the Patriots- he played in the preseason for New England.
• After being cut, he was resigned to their practice squad and cut again.
• Resigned to a reserve/futures contract, he’d be released during final cut downs in 2023.
• Joined the University of Michigan as a graduate assistant in 2024.

NOTES:

On a whim every once in a while I buy a blaster box of the Walgreens football cards. 1 in 4 is a hit. Blah. Blah. Blah. Probably have opened 10 or so of these and this was the first autograph I’ve ever gotten.
