CAREER SNAPSHOT:
- After initially playing RB at Pitt in 2005, Jennings transferred to Liberty to be closer to his family.
- In 2008 he ran for 1,507 yards on 264 carries scoring 17 TDs.
- Selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 7th round of the 2009 NFL Draft.
- The Jags decided to take a flyer on him after coaching him up at the Senior Bowl and feeling like they needed a change of pace to help out aging Maurice Jones-Drew.
- Over three seasons with Jacksonville he ran for 944 yards and 7 TDs on 224 carries.
- Signed by the Raiders in 2013, Jennings saw consistent action in Oakland’s backfield- running for 733 yards and 6 TDs in his lone year with the franchise.
- He then hopped over to the Giants in 2014, spending the next 3 seasons there.
- Ran for a career high 863 yards in 2015.
- Released in 2017, he’d announce his retirement at the end of the year.
- He then competed in Dancing With the Stars- and ended up winning the show that year.
- Since then he’s made occasional appearances on the show as both a judge and participant, and has still never been eliminated from competition.
- In 2022, Jennings returned to the gridiron with the Fan Controlled Football league first as a coach and then later as a RB.
