In the time since the 2024 contest when Deontay was gracious enough to sign my cards after the game, I was able to reload with a few more and make a sweet XFL custom card for him from when he played with the Roughnecks back in 2023. I was fairly confident I could get him to sign if he saw the ‘Necks card… and he did! Deontay really liked the card I did and thanked me for the additional I gave him while signing the three cards I packed.
