At 6’6″, 310 it appears on the surface that Cole Manhart possesses the size and weight to play at the next level. With decent footwork pulling and sealing blocks, he also plays whistle to whistle, and is a solid technician in pass protection. The major question that dogs the former tackle, now center, is the level of competition he faced, as Cole played at little known Nebraska-Kearney. The reviews are quite mixed on Manhart, leaving the scouts targeting him as a priority free agent in the 2015 draft. The Eagles signed him but he finished camp with the Saints. Eventually he landed on the Raiders, and earned a futures contract with the Steelers for 2016.
Synjyn played collegiality at Georgia Tech from 2011 to 2014. His best year came in 2014 when he amassed 924 yards on 157 carries and 9 rushing touchdowns. He went undrafted in the 2015, and signed a free agent contract with the Dallas Cowboys, but faced an uphill battle competing with the likes of Joseph Randle, Lance Dunbar, and Darren McFadden for playing time. Soon thereafter the Cowboys also added Lache Seastrunk to the loggerjam, and cut Days. Synjyn is keeping the dream alive and is continuing to train for the opportunity to continue his pro dream.
A quick and decisive runningback, Prince-Tyson Gulley has over 2,000 career rushing yards for the Syracuse Orangemen. He also was a respectable option out of the backfield and even spent some time working special teams his Freshman year. Prince rushed for a 607 yards and one touchdown on 127 carries, and caught 21 passes for 107 yards in 2014. In 2012, he ran for a career-high 830 yards and earned MVP honors in Syracuse’s Pinstripe Bowl win over West Virginia. At 5’8″, 193 most teams view Gulley as a 3rd down or change of pace back. He went undrafted, but received an invite from the New York Giants and Buffalo Bills to attend their respective minicamps in 2015. Currently he is a free agent.
