Mayes, Brad

An interesting small school prospect, with excellent football IQ, that snuck onto some 2019 draft boards late as a sleeper, Brad Mayes played quarterback at Lehigh from 2015-2019. A traditional drop back passer, Mayes had his best year in 2017/18 when he started all 12 games and compiled 3,886 yards, 31 touchdowns (12 interceptions), on 292 of 455 throws. He would not be selected in the 2019 NFL Draft, however he was in the pool of XFL quarterbacks for their inaugural draft.

After flying under the radar yet wanting to continue his football career, Brad signed overseas with the Dresden Monarchs in March of 2020.

Meyers, Jakobi

Jakobi Myers saw action for the NC State Wolfpack from 2015-2018. In his last year in Raleigh, Jakobi broke Torry Holt’s single season receiving record with 92 catches. He finished his college career with 168 catches for 1932 yards and 9 TDs. Myers was not selected in the 2019 NFL Draft, but was signed as a free agent by the New England Patriots. Myers was quite the surprise for the Patriots, who were short staffed at wide receiver. Over the course of the season he hauled in 26 catches for 359 yards.
