CAREER SNAPSHOT:
- Shane finished his college career at Arizona State with 116 solo tackles, 12 sacks, and 3 forced fumbles from his defensive end position.
- Overcame a career threatening knee injury to post 42 total tackles (23 solo), 1 sack, and a fumble recovery in 1991- over the final 6 games.
- With an impressive combine (6’3′”, 277), posted a 4.81 40, 420 bench press, 360 lb power clean, 570 lb squat, and a 34.5 inch vertical leap.
- Washington gave Dallas a third round pick to move up 8 spots to select Collins in the second round of the 1992 draft.
- Started 5 games his rookie season, but missed 17 games the next two seasons with knee and arch injuries.
- Waived and resigned in 1994, and subsequently cut after not being selected by the Panthers or Jaguars in the 1995 NFL Expansion Draft.

NOTES:
Shane was a pretty rare signer up until 2021. He has a bevvy of great cards to choose from that I wanted, but these were my top choices. Of note, he’s also one of my few TTM successes from the great state of Montana.
