Tyler O’Connor played college ball at Michigan State from 2013-2016. He became the Spartans starting quarterback as a Senior in 2016.  A leader on and off the field, O’Connor was voted team captain, while throwing for 1,970 yards on 154 of 262 passes (16 TDs to 9 interceptions). He was not selected in the 2017 NFL Draft, but was given a tryout by the Cincinnati Bengals. At the conclusion of the week long tryout, he was not offered a contract and is considered a free agent.
