CAREER SNAPSHOT:
- Over 5 years, Chris McLemore split time with Colorado (1982/83) and Arizona (1985/86).
- Finished his college career with 908 yards on 212 carries, rumbling for 11 TDs.
- While compiling the bulk of his catches in 82, Chris also had 61 career receptions for 481 yards and a TD.
- 11th round selection of the Los Angeles Raiders in 1987.
- Cut by Raiders after 3 contests, he then saw action in 2 starts for the Colts, rushing for 58 yards on 17 carries.
- Was on the roster of the LA Raiders for an additional 7 contests in 1988.
- Appeared in the World League in 1992 playing for the New York/New Jersey Knights.
- Rushed for 230 yards on 50 carries for the Knights.
- Also turned a screen pass against the Galaxy into a 67 yard TD.
NOTES:
I had failed on Chris way back in 2017 using his old address. I had the envelope sitting around and found a new address recently and decided to give him a try. I thought that the NY/NJ Ultimate 1992 team stats card, had him pictured on the front. It is clearly someone with a 20, but he told me it looked like a 5- and did not sign it.
