CAREER SNAPSHOT:

  • Dominating defensive end played college ball at Washington before heading over to the CFL in 1984.
  • Playing for the Edmonton Eskimos, racked up 18 sacks in rookie year.
  • Over 9 year career, never failed to notch less than 8 sacks in a season.
  • Also had 18 sacks in 87, and 17 in both 86 and 90.
  • Played the 91 and 92 seasons with the British Columbia Lions.
  • Finished out career with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 1993.
  • Seldom used TE as well, recorded 4 catches and 4 TDs over his career on offense.

NOTES:
It seemed to make a lot of sense to go ahead and pick this autograph up since it was so cheap and the seller had multitudes of the same autographed card.

Truesdell, Nick

CAREER SNAPSHOT:

  • Played TE for the University of Cincinnati and Grand Rapids Community College.
  • Went undrafted in 2013.
  • Played Arena ball with the Colorado Ice and Bemidji Axemen of the IFL in 2014.
  • Spent the next 3 seasons playing with the Shock (2014-15) and Steel (2016).
  • After not catching on with the Colts in 2016, Rattlers (2017), Stampeders and Gladiators (2018), made the practice squad of the Vikings in 2018.
  • Signed with the AAF Salt Lake City Stallions in late 2018 and had a solid season for the team, hauling in 24 passes for 269 yards and 3 TDs.
  • Joined Jets, and later the Vipers during 2019 playing in the XFL’s 2020 campaign.
  • Spent time in The Spring League with the Aviators in late 2020.
  • Selected by the New Jersey Generals of the New USFL in 2022, but was released before the season due to a groin injury.

Bramlet, Casey

ACQUIRED: 2022, Private Acquisition

CAREER SNAPSHOT:

  • Bramlet played QB for Wyoming from 2000-03.
  • He ushered in a new era of quarterbacking at the school, breaking school records for passing throwing for 3,000+ yards in 3 straight seasons.
  • Selected in the 7th round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals.
  • Buried on the depth chart, he’d be allocated to the Hamburg Sea Devils in 2005.
  • Getting valued playtime in Europe, Casey started all 10 games for Hamburg.
  • Cut by the Bengals in 2005, he’d sign with the Redskins in 2006.
  • Assigned by the Redskins to Europa in 2007.
  • Led the Sea Devils to a victory in World Bowl XV.
  • Threw for 2019 yards on 151 of 254 passes, and 16 TDs to just 4 picks.
  • Cut by Redskins, but saw time as an emergency quarterback on the rosters of both the Falcons and Dolphins in 2007.
  • Took a cup of coffee with the Chargers and Ravens in ’08 before heading over to the CFL.
  • Signed by the Blue Bombers in 2009, and saw action briefly in 2 games.
  • Retired after the season and currently works in the financial industry.

NOTES:

Casey was part of a collection of oversized team issued postcard autographs I got from a friend of mine. I was tickled that I was able to get the World Bowl XV MVP’s autograph among them.
