Well I figured that unless a paid signing came up again I wouldn’t be able to pick up Mel, but at the tail end of ’24 he started signing TTM for a nominal fee. I had just a few more set needs to go and powered these out the door.

Mel surprisingly doesn’t appear in Pro Set or Score 1989, so all of mine were from post ’90. The Skybox Premium ’93 or ‘colors’ set as I affectionately called it was a late addition, so I was happy to add this one to the collection. The ’91 Pro Set is probably his most iconic card. I’m sure he receives a lot of requests for this Merv Corning piece.
