NOTES:

Fearsome, nasty, fast, and large, Jon was a true road grading offensive lineman who struck fear into opposing defenders. Considered one of the dirtiest players of his era- he fit right in with the Philadelphia Eagles. Jon was also remarkably durable, despite his 6’8″, 299 frame, he started 190 straight contests. His son followed in his footsteps and was drafted by the Packers in 2020.

At the time of his retirement in 2009, Jon was the last remaining player who had played for the HOUSTON Oilers franchise.

  • Blew up on the Baltimore Ravens catching 3 passes for 103 yards and a 64 yard TD, helping the Dolphins secure their only win of the season.
  • The 64 yard play would be the longest of the year for the hapless Dolphins.

  • Joined the Vikings in 2010 playing for Minnesota through 2011.

NOTES:

I loved these action shots of Greg, and being that they were also some set needs it made sense to get his autograph on them. He’s got a pretty solid autograph. I love the loops in the G and C. Greg is both Mexican American and of Jewish heritage.

NOTES:

I failed on getting Casey back in 2019. I think I flushed a Loaded Cannon card, but that’s okay. After doing some research I tracked down a good address for him and shot these two cards out earlier in 2022. I was a bit disappointed when someone else who sent to him later than me stole my thunder and got him back first, but the TTM gods granted me their favor and finally I got Casey in the mail. The Classic is a bit smeared but no big deal. It was the Topps XFL 2001 that I was truly after.
