Joined the Packers in 2006, but didn’t make the squad there or his next stop in 2007 with the Toronto Argonauts (2007).
Hopped over to the Arena Football League, playing for the Grand Rapids Rampage (2007) and Georgia Force (2008).
After returning to the college ranks, as head coach of John Carroll, Chattanooga, and Akron, most recently served as the passing game specialist of the Los Angeles Chargers (2022).

Tom played in the Arena Football League but it’s not clear if he didn’t start or if his stats are just unavailable.
Blaine McElmurry was a hard hitting FS at Montana from 1993-’96.
Went undrafted and was a free agent signee of the then Houston Oilers in 1997.
After not making the squad, played for the Packers that year.
Signed with the Tennessee Oilers in 1998, and finished the year on the roster of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
After playing in ’99 for the Jags, headed over to Europe to play for the Scottish Claymores of the NFLE in 2000.
While playing for the Claymores had 4 interceptions and 12 pass deflections.
In 2002 played for the Amsterdam Admirals.
Signed with the Tennessee Titans in 2002- but didn’t make the squad and subsequently retired.
As of 2022, is a home builder in Montana.

Set 5 NCAA collegiate passing records while quarterbacking for UC Davis while throwing for 7601 yards and 68 TDs in college career.
Finalist for Harlon Hill Trophy in 1999.

Joined NFLE in 2000, playing for the Scottish Claymores leading the franchise to the World Bowl.
Set NFLE mark with a 107.3 QB rating.
Returned to the NFL but was on and off the rosters of the Titans, Chargers, Falcons, and 49ers through 2001.
Resigned with the Titans in 02, and was allocated to the NFLE.
Played 2002 with the Amsterdam Admirals.
Set NFLE record with 30 career TD passes.
Signed with the AFL, playing with the San Jose Sabrecats in 2003, and the Albany Firebirds in 2004.
Has seen extensive stints at the college level, enjoying a season in the UFL as the WRs coach of the Omaha Nighthawks in 2011.
As of 2022, is head coach of Dartmouth.
