CAREER SNAPSHOT:
Jonathan Adams played WR from 2017-’20 for Arkansas State.
During his time at the school, his catches, yards, and TDs grew exponentially every season.
In his senior season with the Red Wolves, he compiled 79 receptions for 1,111 yards and 12 TDs.
Had an impressive camp with the Lions after going undrafted in 2021, but would be later cut before camp concluded.
Selected by the New Orleans Breakers of the USFL in 2022.
Hauled in 31 passes for 406 yards and 3 TDs that season.
In 2023, Jonathan caught 41 passes for 511 yards and 2 TDs.
When the USFL and XFL merged, the Breakers were not retained.
Adams was selected during the 2024 dispersal draft by the Memphis Showboats.
Continued to showcase his abilities catching 33 passes for 441 yards and a TD in 2024, and 30 passes for 407 yards and 2 TD in 2025.
NOTES:
Jonathan Adams was the prize I was after from the Memphis game since Darius Victor was no longer on the squad. He had a really nice Breakers card from the USFL set I wanted. (Random note- but apparently the Breakers gear still sells quite well despite the franchise going on hiatus during the merger.) Adams is overshadowed by other talent in the UFL, but continues to be a consistent and solid performer, despite the QB and offensive issues in Memphis.
I was really happy to get Jonathan’s autograph on a printer’s plate, although he’s so lanky and large in this photo, he looks like a linebacker instead.
I was genuinely surprised to get McLeod’s autograph back on his parallel card after such a long wait. It had been so long that I had just given up in general on it after I had seen a few successes on him trickle in but nothing for me. Maybe he thought he mailed it out or the mailman lost it at the facility and delivered it months or a year later.. Who knows? But he was kind enough to drop the extra UD CFL card in for me.

CAREER SNAPSHOT:
J’mar Smith played QB at Louisiana Tech from 2016-’19.
He completed 759 of 1280 passes for 9,523 yards and 51 TDs over his college career.
In 2019 he’d be named Conference USA’s Offensive Player of the Year.
Undrafted, he spent camp with the Patriots in 2020, and had a tryout with the Packers.
Signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in ’21 but was released.
Joined the USFL in 2022 and led the team to a win the USFL Championship Game in 2022.
On the season he completed 131 passes for 1573 yards and 10 TDs, while rushing for 191 on 37 carries scoring 2 TDs.
Placed on IR for the 2023 season.
Returned to Birmingham for the 2024 campaign, but saw little action.
Signed a letter alongside other quarterbacks and refused to report to the opening of camp until concessions were made by the league.
Cut by Birmingham but returned a few scant weeks later.

J’Mar was wandering off the field after their loss to the Brahmas during the 2024 season. He and Marlon Williams ambled up and signed their cards for me. It was a good double hit.
I had been having a lot of success with the Upper Deck UFL set. I pulled this dual autograph from a group of 8 packs I opened. I was pretty satisfied with this hit- although I am unsure if J’mar and Amari have ever been on the field at the same time.
