NOTES:
Great cards here of Greg. It took a lot of digging to find his address but after cross referencing a few sources, and researching his success percentage, I decided to give him a shot on these cards. I rarely get the chance to shoot out Star Pics cards, so this one was a special treat to get back after an extended wait. I love how he signed his Action Packed card in between his two hands. Great placement there.
After spending both 2019 and 2020 briefly with the Browns, was signed by the Dallas Cowboys off Cleveland’s practice squad.
Was starter in Week 9 against the Steelers, after injury bug hit the Cowboys QB rotation.
Threw for 243 yards, a TD and an INT in first meaningful NFL game.
Signed by New England Patriots and placed on team’s practice squad for 2021, finishing the season on the roster of the Redskins.
In March of 22, signed with the Las Vegas Raiders
NOTES:
I had still wanted to get Garrett on one more card of his- this Topps AAF Now card of his. In a take no risk get no reward situation, I took a shot at an address I found in Ohio (while he was still on the Browns). He signed these two cards for me in a bit under 30 days. Recently I also picked up his AAF Apollos jersey. Maybe if he does another event around here I’ll consider getting it and my custom art signed by him.

CAREER SNAPSHOT:
Matt played from 1995-98 for Pitt, throwing for 3738 yards and 26 TDs.
Undrafted in 99, he signed with the Carolina Panthers but ultimately did not make the squad 52 man roster.
The Panthers later assigned him to NFL Europe in 2000, where Matt played for the Rhein Fire, backing up Danny Wuerffel.
Claimed off of waivers by the Seattle Seahawks he’d be on and off the team’s practice squad during 2000, before the Panthers reclaimed him.
He made his only start of his career in 2001 in a blowout loss to the Rams.
Lytle joined the Alouettes in the CFL for 2002, backing up Anthony Calvillo at QB.
He then was in camp with the Ravens in 2003, and then later the Colorado Crush of the Arena league, but ultimately retired after failing to make the roster of the Crush in 2004.
